Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a silk fabric stretched over a loom, which acts as a matrix. Through the free areas of the fabric, the ink is transferred to the underlying substrate by pressing a doctor blade.
Screen printing allows a much thicker and more opaque layer of ink to be deposited, making it the unsurpassed technology for projects that require bright colors, maximum mechanical and chemical resistance, or when it is necessary to print on unconventional materials such as metals and plastics.
Why choose screen printing?
The real strength of this process is the incredible ability to adapt. We use U.V. or solvent inks, selected to guarantee an unbeatable seal over time and also suitable for subsequent thermoforming processes.
Unlike other techniques, screen printing allows to operate on a very wide range of flat substrates:
- Metals: Aluminum and metal surfaces for industrial plates and panels.
- Plastics and films: polycarbonate, PVC, methacrylate and adhesive films.
- Specialties: reactivatable decals and high-durability labels.
Thanks to a versatile machine park, we are able to handle projects of different sizes and complexities:
- Automatic process: for large print runs with a maximum size of 70 x 100 cm.
- Manual process: for special or large processing up to 120 x 200 cm.
